Varsity Volleyball Defeats Opponent in Three
The Scheck Hillel varsity volleyball team defeat David Posnack Jewish Day School 3-0, Monday, October 8.
The teams played the best out of five games with the Lions taking the first three sets 25-16, 25-17 and 25-19 respectively.
Sophomore Tatiana Wainer had a game-high 14 kills to help the Lions earn the win. She also registered one block in the win against the Rams. Freshman Alexa Scheck assisted 18 kills in the game which made it one of her personal best games in the last few weeks.
Senior Raquel DiMitri added seven kills and three aces to the win while sophomore Gabriela Aizenman and junior Orli Algranatti combined collected over 25 digs.
The Lions play their final home game of the season against Somerset Academy Pines, Thursday, October 8 at 5:30 p.m.
