Student Athletes of the Week 9/24-9/27
Senior David Bonwitt from varsity football and freshman Alexa Scheck from girls' varsity volleyball won the Male and Female Athlete of the Week Awards, Friday September 28.
Each week the coaches and athletic staff vote for one male and one female athlete of the week based on athletic performance. Take a look at some of their accomplishments below.
(Football) David Bonwitt: He took over at quarterback in the third quarter and moved the ball around on offense. He also rushed for many yards including one over 15 yards that resulted in a touchdown that put the Lions within one point of the Spartans.
(Volleyball) Alexa Scheck: In their 3-2 win over Doctors Charter she played a great overall game to help the Lions get the win. She finished with 15 assists, three aces and two digs.
