Student-Athletes of the Week 9/3-9/7
Varsity football player senior Benjamin Wolf and varsity girls' volleyball player sophomore Tatiana Wainer won the Male and Female Athlete of the Week Awards, Friday, September 7.
Each week the coaches and athletic staff vote for one male and one female athlete of the week based on athletic performance. Wolf were selected based off their contribution and dedication to their teams this past week. Find below a small summary of their accomplishments this week.
(Football) Benjamin Wolf: In Hillel's first game of the season against Boca Christian, he played on both offense and defense. Not only did he make a couple of key tackles for the Lions he also scored the teams only touchdown in the tough matchup.
(Volleyball) Tatiana Wainer: She started both games this week for varsity volleyball. Using her tall and strong stature against at the net she was able to play a vital role for the team on both offense and defense. She was a stronger contender from the outside collecting a multiple kills and a couple of blocks in both games.
