Middle School Volleyball Remain Undefeated at Home
The Scheck Hillel middle school volleyball team defeated The Sagemont School 2-0, Tuesday, September 4.
The Hillel Lions overcame a five-point deficit in the first game after eighth grader Atara Sredni scored eight straight points to get put Hillel in the lead. The game finished 25-23 in favor of the home team.
With just six players on the bench the girls played hard and fought through the adversity. The strong six for today's game include Sredi, eighth-graders Kayla Bigelman and Zoe Alon, and seventh-graders Nicole Wolak, Edith Koenig and Yael Weitzman.
Both teams battled point-for-point in the second game but strong serving from Sredni allowed the Hillel Lions to finish 25-20.
Catch them back in action on Wednesday, September 5, at home. Game starts at 4:30PM.
