Scheck Hillel Beats Mourning On the Road
The Scheck Hillel varsity boys' basketball team won its nineth game of the season 47-40 over Mourning, Tuesday, January 22.
The Lions were led by junior Aaron Ben-Shmuel who finished the night with 22 points.
Senior Benjamin Brener also scored double figures for Hillel as he added 10 points and was one rebound away from a double-double finishing with nine.
Sophomore Samuel Taieb contributed five points in the win while senior Benjamin Givner added four. Givner also dished out five assists and collected two steals in the win.
Sophomores Alan Berkman and Saul Birmaher both added three points each to Hillel's overall score.
The Lions travel to Palmer Trinity, Tuesday, January 23 for a 7:00PM game.
