Keystone Project Talks Address Timely Issues
Keystone, Scheck Hillel's Lower School enrichment program exclusively for students showing mastery of grade-level skills beginning in Grade 3, culminated with persuasive presentations: TED-style overviews of issues impacting students' lives and the world around them. Topics included "Don't Mess With Nature," "Overprotective Schools," "Racism," "Pink Tax," "Emergency Vehicles," "Antisemitism" and more.

About the Keystone Enrichment Program
Keystone has been crafted to expand children’s passion about topics they are curious about and engage them in meaningful learning through the design thinking process. Extending from Scheck Hillel’s mission, Keystone is another personalized opportunity through which high-achieving students enrich and advance their own learning journeys. Qualified students in select grade levels choose topics related to areas of interest and produce research presentations in the style of a Ted Talk. Through a three-step process, they Discover, Develop and then Share their passion and what they’ve learned through this self-paced journey. Students develop advanced skills in research, collaboration, feedback processes, presentation design and public speaking.
