Berkman Wins Lion Pride Award
Middle school soccer player, seventh-grader Alejandro Berkman won the Lion Pride Award, Friday, December 14.
Berkman was a big contributor to the team's IAL Championship win over Hillel of Boca. During their final game this week against the other Lions, he made the game winning goal in double-overtime to keep the trophy at Scheck Hillel. Berkman took many shots on goal during the game and made the one that counted the most. He has displayed the type of fighting spirit we wish for all of our student athletes.
His consistency, hardwork and fearless attitude earns him this week's Lion Pride award.
