Athletics at Scheck Hillel
Student-Athletes of the Week 11/19-11/23
Seniors Aaron Ben-Shmuel from boys basketball and Maya Feuer from girls basketball won the Male and Female Athlete of the Week Awards, Wednesday, November 21.
Each week the coaches and athletic staff vote for one male and one female athlete of the week based on athletic performance. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday this week was a short one but these student-athletes managed to show they deserved this week's title.

(Boys' Basketball) Aaron Ben-Shmuel : A captain on the team, Aaron led the team with 20 points in game one of the JDSSF tournament hosted by Hebrew Academy. The team played against Donna Klein. He also grabbed 10 rebounds. In the finals against Hebrew he was second on the team with 16 points and helped his team pull off a come from behind victory.
(Girls' Basketball) Maya Feuer: Maya has been a captain on the girls' team for the last few seasons and now as a senior she has continued to be a leader on the court. She was one of the leading scorers for Hillel in their game against Katz Yeshiva High School on Tuesday, November 20.
