Student-Athletes of the Week 9/10-9/14
Varsity golfer junior David Letcher and varsity girls' volleyball player senior Raquel Dimitri won the Male and Female Athlete of the Week Awards, Friday September 14.
Each week the coaches and athletic staff vote for one male and one female athlete of the week based on athletic performance. Azar and Scheck are the first winners for the 2018-19 seasons. Find below a small summary of their accomplishments this week.
(Golf) David Letcher: He was the top finisher in Hillel's golf matches this week. Finished with a low score of 43 against Chaminade Madonna. He has finished in the top two for Hillel in every match so far this season.
(Volleyball) Raquel Dimitri: In their 3-0 win over Somerset Central in Miramar she led the team with nine kills. She was also a force behind the line serving up seven aces and defensively she produced one block.
