IMACS: Math Enrichment Through Math and Computer Science

Scheck Hillel has renewed its partnership with the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science (IMACS): online math enrichment for Scheck Hillel students in Grades 1-6 who qualify, are naturally inquisitive or showing an early talent for math. Scheck Hillel families earn a 10% discount.

 

Sharing our commitment to excellence in education, IMACS has been enhancing education for over 25 years. The program uses a unique approach to math education that strengthens students' logical thinking, abstract reasoning, and analytical skills. 

 

To enroll, students must first attend a free online placement class. These classes are fun for students, provide parents with the opportunity to evaluate whether the IMACS Live! program is right for their child, and allows IMACS to determine which level of the Math Enrichment curriculum will best benefit each child.

 

Please note: a student may NOT enroll in the IMACS Live! Math Enrichment Program without first attending an online placement class with his or her parent. The placement classes are led by IMACS and free; spaces are limited, and reservations are required.

 

You are encouraged to register for a free online placement class to see if IMACS Live! is right for your child. To start this process, please visit www.imacs.org/scheckhillel to receive information about a 20-30 minute session of online activities, which prepares students for the IMACS placement class via Zoom. After your child completes these activities, you will receive an email with several registration dates/times to consider.
