Parent Education Remains Scheck Hillel Priority

Scheck Hillel’sConscious Discipline program migrated online with ive parent workshops. These sessions for PKT-Grade 1 families take a deeper look at the skills and rituals that nurture family connections, foster emotional intelligence and build loving relationships.

According to Lower School counselor Esther Poler, “The training provides strategies that help create and enhance emotional connections with the child, creating a sense of emotional safety.” Creating daily routines through visuals and repetition, and using language that communicates predictability, are key components of the approach, added Mrs. Poler.
