Middle School Boys' Soccer Win IAL Championship

The Scheck Hillel middle school boys' soccer team defeated Hillel of Boca 2-1 in double overtime to win the IAL Championship, Wednesday, December 12.
The game was almost a repeat of the semifinals against Boca Christian with Scheck Hillel scoring the first goal and their opponents tying the game. 

All of the guys played a great game and the first goal of the game was  scored by eighth-grader Abraham Klainbaum

Both teams fought hard for possesion of the ball and seventh-grader goalkeeper Benjamin Leibovich had over 8 saves in the game, many of which were game winning saves. 

With barely any minutes left In the second overtime seventh-grader Alejandro Berkman hit a beautiful shot into the left side of the goal to seal the Scheck Hillel Lions victory. 

The team finished the season undefeated with a 9-0 record and remained back-to-back champions. For more pictures from the game click HERE.
