Esther Attar (Grade 6), Johnathan Lev-Tov (Grade 7), Maya Lev-Tov (Grade 7), Orel Mizrahi (Grade 7), Matan Ovadia (Grade 7) and Zohara Schrager (Grade 6) were selected for their achievement in Hebrew language and for their exemplary initiative and focus. Our Ambassadors spent the day with peers from other Jewish day schools speaking exclusively in Hebrew, participating in debates led by Hebrew teachers and Shlichim, and deepening awareness of Hebrew as a communication tool for youth. Back home at Scheck Hillel, our Hebrew Ambassadors will continue to advocate for a strong connection with Israel and its language.
