Social Studies Teacher Links Gilinski Hillel Ambassadors to Cause

When Upper School social studies teacher Cyndi Schulman is not teaching her Economics and Government classes at Scheck Hillel, she devotes her time to Project Unite Humanity, a non-profit she started which focuses on providing resources where they are needed locally and abroad.

More specifically, Project Unite Humanity's main programs include the establishment of libraries in developing countries and running a mentoring group for at-risk public middle school students. Recently, our Jaime and Raquel Gilinski Hillel Ambassadors partnered with the project, and, alongside mentors from the organization, sorted the first shipment of books to Yerucham, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's partner city in the Negev.

Thank you, Ms. Schulman, for opening your home and organizing this community service opportunity for our students!
