Capstone College Readiness Program Wraps Up Senior Year

This week, Scheck Hillel’s Class of ‘22 tackled critical life subjects in the Capstone College Readiness Program: the culmination of their year-long Capstone Senior Seminar. The program connects graduating seniors with guest speakers surrounding subjects like Jewish life, inclusivity and diversity, the consequences of alcohol and drugs, and many more topics to lay the foundation for lifelong positive decision-making.

Alumni Leah Savir ‘17 (Yeshiva University-Stern), Joseph Wolf ‘16 (University of Michigan) and Samuel Levy ‘20 (University of Central Florida) spoke about Jewish life on the college campus, reflecting on personal experience.

The Capstone Senior Seminar introduces students to seminar-style learning in English and Judaic Studies. Through multiple academic lenses, students address essential questions: definitional topics that transcend academic areas.
