With Lion Pride, we are pleased to announce Scheck Hillel Community School's 2019 Academic Merit Scholarship recipients: Jamie Kurzer ‘23, Zachary Lemmer ‘22, Dalia Saba ‘23 and Hannah Stern ‘22.
These students have been awarded our inaugural multi-year Academic Merit Scholarship: an honor conferred on students who demonstrate a passion for academic excellence and a desire to grow and nurture their Jewish identity. These prestigious awards carry through the entire duration of the students’ high school years. Scholarship candidates excel academically, and this year's recipients shined as they progressed through the application process.
“We are honored to recognize these distinguished students through Scheck Hillel’s Academic Merit Scholarship program,” remarked Vanessa Donaher, Head of School. “May they continue to excel in school, uphold our core values and know how proud we are of them.”
Scheck Hillel creates opportunities for students to maximize achievement, foster identity and explore passions through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, comprehensive co-curricular offerings and a diverse, nurturing community, empowering our students to become reflective global citizens with enduring Jewish identity and values. The application for Scheck Hillel’s 2020 Academic Merit Scholarship will open in December 2019 for current and prospective Scheck Hillel students.
