Student-Athletes of the Week 11/12-11/16
Sophomore Leon Sion from boys soccer and junior Orli Algranatti from girls basketball won the Male and Female Athlete of the Week Awards, Friday, November 16.
Each week the coaches and athletic staff vote for one male and one female athlete of the week based on athletic performance. Take a look at some of their accomplishments below.
(Boys' Soccer) Leon Sion: A captain on the team, Leon scored one of the five goals in the win against David Posnack this week and played a good overall game for the Lions.
(Girls' Basketball) Orli Algranatti She scored 13 points in the teams first win of the season against Inlet Grove during the preseason tournament at Hebrew Academy. She also played tough against Katz Yeshiva during the first game earlier in the week.
