Gilinski Hillel Ambassador Visits With Grade 5

A big "thank you" to Michael Rafalskyy (Grade 10) for sharing his story with Grade 5 this week. Our students were captivated by his journey to success: He is a Jaime and Raquel Gilinski Hillel Ambassador and Grade 10 Class Co-President, and just became a Scheck Hillel student last year. Michael spoke about the importance of treating everyone with respect and emphasized the the need to follow our school mission and core values.

After Michael's talk, student Millie Goldstein reflected, "He taught us that even if you learn differently, you can still do great things."

Scheck Hillel school counselor Laurie Parker thanked Michael, describing him as, "...a role model and inspiration to us all."

Michael's sister, Claire Guralnik, is in Grade 5.
