Grade 4 Flag Football Open Season With a Win
The Scheck Hillel grade 4 flag football team defeated Hochberg (Posnack East) 30-6, Wednesday, October 17.
The game was the first for the Lions to start off the season. The Rams scored the first touchdown of the game to take the lead but the Lions came back with 30 unanswered points.
Alexander Haime scored the first touchdown of the game for the Hillel. Other scorers for the Lions include Harry Waich, Alejandro Strulovic, Elliot Carciente and Jacob Luck.
Gabriel Klinger, Haime and Carciente each got an interception in the game with Carciente's ending in a pick six.
Defensively the Lions did well and many players pulled flags to cause turnovers. Key players defensively for Hillel include Daniel Singer, Carlos Atri, Haime, Strulovic and Alan Agay.
The Lions take Hebrew Academy Monday, October 22 at 4PM.
