Athletics at Scheck Hillel
Golf Team Competes in District Championships
The Scheck Hillel varsity golf team finished 6th in the District Championships, Monday, October 15.
The match took place at the Miami Shores Country Club and five Hillel student-athletes competed. Junior David Lechter shot 90 and led the Lions with the teams lowest score. Juniors Yair Lisker (96), Benjamin Ratzker (105) and Gad Lisker (110) all played 18 holes for Hillel.
Sixth-grader Jonathan Bromberg was the final Lion to compete for the day and finished with a score of 142. Overall Hillel scored 401 points and they battled through the highs and lows to close out the season.
