Student-Athletes Honored at Annual Book Awards

Faculty members from Scheck Hillel Community School presented awards to multiple student-athletes during the school’s Annual Book Awards, Thursday, August 30th.
 
The varsity student-athletes represented five sports teams to include boys and girls soccer, girls' volleyball, tennis and cross country. The winners of these awards are as followed:

Jonathan Abbo (Boys' Cross Country)- Brown University
Alexa Cohen (Girls' Tennis)- Dartmouth College
Raquel Dimitri (Girls' Volleyball and Tennis)- Princeton University
Gabriella Bentolila (Girls' Soccer)- Smith College
Joseph Bensabat (Boys' Soccer)- Swarthmore College
Ariel Hacham (Boys' Soccer)- University of Virginia (online)
Amanda Scheck (Girls' Volleyball)- Wellesley College 
Matias Lancewicki (Boys' Soccer)- Harvard University
Jorge Batievsky (Boys' Soccer)- Yeshiva University

Scheck Hillel Community School’s College Book Awards Program is sponsored by the alumni group of the participating colleges. High schools are invited to participate by nominating members of the rising senior class who have demonstrated the attributes of the award. As a committee, faculty and school counselors determine the recipients for each award.
