Chag Pesach Sameach

In preparation for the Passover holiday, the Scheck Hillel Community School campus was abuzz with learning, celebration and reflection. Our ECE and Kindergarten-Grade 5 students got covered in flour soaking up lots of Pesach facts in the Matzah Factory, conducted model sedarim and performed songs and skits recalling the Exodus from Egypt. Many families joined classroom celebrations and were greeted by costumed Israelites and Egyptians, eager to share the particulars of the journey. Middle School students conducted "speed seders," to practice the proper "order" of the seder's phases. On the first night of Passover, invite your children to pray, sing and tell the story of our ancestors' flight to freedom. As the photo gallery demonstrates, they are prepared, proud and eager!
