Seniors Claim Victory in Season Finale
The Scheck Hillel girls' flag football team defeated Hebrew Academy 19-14 in the final game of the season, Monday, March 26.
Senior Simi Serfati scored the first touchdown of the game to put the Lions up over the Spartans. The second touchdown came from junior Julie Eibinder who caught the ball in the endzone and the third and final touch down from freshman Sophia Petreanu.
The team honored seniors Serfati, Michelle Elovic and Lauren Rub at the end of the game with plaques and words of encouragement. Senior Orly Chaillo was also honored in her absence.
