Varsity Boys' Basketball End Regular Season with Huge Win Over Divine Savior
The Scheck Hillel varsity boys' basketball team pulled off a huge 58-36 win over Divine Savior, Thursday, February 8.
The Lions took an early 11-7 lead over the Sharks to end the first quarter setting the tone for most of the game. Junior Yaniv Assraf finished with a team--high 19 points to help Scheck Hillel capture the victory.
Sophomore Alan Berkman's scored 16 points in the second half to help the Lions pull away from the Sharks. Berkman finished with 17pts while junior Aaron Ben-Shmuel added 9 points.
The Lions finish the season with an over 13-12 record and begin their battle for a District Championship Monday, February 12 against Somerset Central. The game is hosted by Sagemont and will begin at 5PM.
