Varsity Girls' Soccer Defeats Doctors Charter 10-0

The Scheck Hillel girls' varsity soccer team registered a 10-0 win over Doctors Charter School, Tuesday, January 16th.
Due to the mercy rule the contest ended after the first half, with a record-breaking score.

Senior Rachelle Murciano scored three goals in the game earning her another hat trick this season. Her first goal came in the first four minutes of the game off an assist from senior Simi Serfati. Serfati also scored in the win for Hillel, knocking in the Lions' last goal of the contest.

Six other Hillel players scored in the win including senior goalkeeper Lauren Rub. Other Hillel goals came from Seniors Orly Chaillo, Vanessa Gonik and Sophie Kryss, sophore Alexandra Gelman and freshman Tali Finger.

Gonik and Chaillo also added assists in the game to help Hillel secure the win.

The Lions return to action Tuesday, January 23 for District Playoffs against Divine Savior at 5PM. The game will cost $6.00 and the winner will play at 7PM on Thursday, January 25th against Miami Country Day for the championship.
