Boys' Varsity Soccer Start 2018 With a Win
The Scheck Hillel boys' varsity soccer team defeat South Florida Heat 8-0 in its first game of the new year, Wednesday, January 10th.
The Lions' first goal came from Junior David Sternberg who checked into the game seconds prior. The next Hillel goal was put past the goalkeeper by freshman Leon Sion to put the Lions up 2-0.
Scheck Hillel went into the half up 4-0 over South Florida Heat and score four additional goals in the second half to end the game with a mercy rule.
The Lions will play its next game Thursday, January 11th against Boca Christian for a 5 p.m. game at home.
