Boys' Middle School Soccer Advance to Championship Game
The Scheck Hillel boys' middle school soccer team earned a spot in the championship game after defeating Boca Christian 5-0, Tuesday, December 12th.
The first half of the game ended in a tie as both teams displayed great defensive play on the field. The Lions came out with a new attitude in the second half and began attacking the goal from every angle.
Hillel's first goal of the match came from eighth-grader David Amselem. He finished with three goals in the game scoring his first hat trick of the season.
Seventh-grader Bryan Cohen scored the final two goals for the Lions to secure the win.
Scheck Hillel will compete for the championship against Hillel of Boca Wednesday, December 13th at 4:00 p.m. For details and directions check out the athletic calendar on ehillel.org.
