Boys' Varsity Basketball Beat Yeshiva on the Road

The Scheck Hillel boys' varsity basketball team defeated Katz Yeshiva High School 42-34, Tuesday, December 5th.
The game marked the fifth straight win for the Lions who improve their record to 6-3. Junior Aaron Ben-Shmuel was the leading scorer for the Lions  finishing with 16 points, two of which were 3-pointers. 

Scheck Hillel went into the half leading Yeshiva 17-12. Junior Andres Bacal's 11 points added to the Lions' victory. Other key players for Hillel were junior Yaniv Assraf who finished with five points and five steals and senior Benjamin Brener who collected 12 rebounds and contributed four points in the win. 

Sophomores Alan Berkman and Saul Birmaher each had three points while senior Benjamin Givner dished out five assists. 

The Lions return to action Thursday, December 7th for a 7:30 p.m. start against Doctors Charter.
