Boys' Varsity Basketball Win Third Straight Game
The Scheck Hillel boys' varsity basketball team defeat Maritime and Science Technology Academy 43-8, Tuesday, November 28th.
Right away the Lions took control of the game scoring 15 points in the first quarter. Hillel also scored in double-digits during the second and third quarters to keep up with their lead.
The Lions wouldn't score in the final quarter of the game but were still able to win by a 35-point margin.
Leading scorers for Hillel were junior Yaniv Assraf who finished with nine points as well and junior Aaron Ben-Shmuel and senior Benjamin Brener who each finished the night with eight. Other key contributors for the Lions were senior Benjamin Givner (six points), sophomore Alan Berkman (five points) and junior Andres Bacal (four points).
The Lions play Hebrew Academy next in a double-header, Thursday, November 30th at 7:30 p.m.
