Off-Season Training Schedules Set for Fall Sports

Halfway through the winter season, the fall athletes find themselves ready to get back in the swing of things with practices and training. Both the varsity football and co-ed cross country teams are offering the student-athletes an opportunity to workout during the offseason.
The off season training program will run from December 1, 2017 through April 26, 2018 at no additional cost. All students wanting to participate will need to be cleared by the athletic trainer. 

For cross country, there will be two practices a week and students who are actively participating in other sports are still encourage to come to at least one of those in preparation for the next season. Head coach Sandra Forero will send weekly emails out confirming meeting locations or any other changes. 

Football will begin its off season conditioning with weight room testing on Monday, November 27th. The student-athletes will spend a lot of time in the fitness center building their strength and endurance. While the program is offered by these specific teams, all students are encouraged to come out if the are interested in team sports or just staying in shape. 
 
Schedules for offseason training can be found on team pages and will be posted around the athletic center.
