Athletics at Scheck Hillel
Lions Remain Unbeaten in 2017
The Scheck Hillel boys' varsity soccer team continue its win streak after defeating David Posnack Jewish Day School 5-0, Thursday, November 16th.
Senior captain Ilan Lapco scored the first goal of the game to give the Lions a 1-0 advantage over the Rams. Senior Michael Romano also scored a goal for Hillel in the win.
Freshman Jeremy Nichols increased the Lions' lead to 3-0 after scoring in the 34th minute. Less than five minutes later, Lapco added his second goal of the evening making the score 4-0 going into the half.
The final goal of the game came from freshman Leon Sion in the 76th minute.
The Lions' play their first district game against Miami Country Day School, Tuesday, November 28th at 7:00 p.m.
