Exploring The World Through Five Themes

In Erica Cullen's Grade 6 Global Societies and Cultures class, students are learning about the world through five lenses: location, place, region, movement, and human-environment interaction. Each student focused on a specific country using the five themes as guideposts, conducting research and creating a poster presentation to share findings.

Scheck Hillel's social studies curriculum prepares students to engage in an interconnected world and in their own communities, through content from several disciplines, so they can make informed decisions as civic-minded individuals.
