Scheck Hillel's College Boot Camp Preps Seniors for New Chapter

Scheck Hillel’s annual College Bootcamp opened the Class of 2022’s senior year Tuesday. This two-day program kicks off the college application season and all that comes with it: essays, transcripts, balanced college lists, faculty recommendations, and a new tracking platform. In Wednesday’s workshop, Director of College Counseling Jennifer Abreu, College Counselor Megan Tusing and Gap Year Advisor Rabbi Avi Greene provided expert guidance to parents, outlining details to help seniors navigate the year successfully. Guest speaker Debra von Bargen added a fresh perspective on stress management, defining positive ways parents can support their children. Scheck Hillel’s College Counseling Office provides a comprehensive and individualized college counseling process for students and families, beginning in Grade 8 and progressing through Grade 12.
