Students Earn Gold in 2021 Regional Science Fair

Congratulations to Alan Benacerraf ‘25, Kenan Ben-Shalom ‘25 and Benjamin Herschman ‘25: the three Scheck Hillel Grade 8 junior scientists who earned GOLD medals in the South Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair! Two of the students also received awards from local and national organizations that support STEM inquiry. Mazal tov to them and their families!

Scheck Hillel recognizes the efforts of science faculty from Lower School through High School and, specifically Middle School’s Mrs. Angela Williams and Mrs. Nikki Gutierrez. Upon the foundation of knowledge and experience gained from our Lower School teachers and Mrs. Gutierrez’s start to Middle School, Mrs. Williams dedicates herself to coaching our students through the three-month Science Fair experience, from here at home to the national level.
