Yom Kippur Appeal

Dear Friends,

5780 was a difficult year for us all. Together, we can make 5781 better.

This pandemic has challenged us all and pushed us into new patterns of living and learning. And, as you can imagine, this year there is a greater need than ever for your support.

Your donation today in support of Scheck Hillel Community School ensures the school is able to continue providing an exceptional education experience to all students, as well as tuition assistance to those who need it.

The High Holy Days are a time to find ways we can transform for the better. Similarly, COVID-19 has given us the opportunity to evaluate what is truly important. This crisis has shown the nation the importance of students learning alongside friends, the essential role of teachers and the value of community. But these changes have also highlighted the promising future of learning at Scheck Hillel as we celebrate our 50 year anniversary.

Yom Kippur allows us to deepen our connection with what is important. These days are most appropriate to perform acts of tzedakah. As you reflect on your priorities, please know that by giving to Scheck Hillel you can make a direct positive impact on our Jewish future.

Every donation helps support the Scheck Hillel students and community. If you are able, please give generously.

May we hear the call of the shofar this year. May we see the world with clear eyes and a pure heart. And may we continue to act with love and compassion, with partnership and care.

Please accept our warmest thanks for all that you have done this year, and for all that we will do together in the year to come.

G'mar Chatimah Tovah,

Uri Benhamron, Chair, Board of Governors
Joseph Woldenberg, Development Chair, Board of Governors
Vanessa Donaher, Head of School
Rabbi Ezra Levy, Rabbinic Head
