Varsity Athletes Honored at the Moris Khoudari Athletic Banquet

The year end event highlights all the varsity athletic teams and allows the coaches to give out individual awards to players who show improvement or special talents throughout the seasons. 

The banquet is named after Moris Khoudari a former student-athlete at Hillel who displayed the hardwork and  leadership skills required of a student-athlete. He was a member of the class of 1995.

The biggest awards of the night, the Moris Khoudari male and female athlete of the year, went to three well deserving individuals. The female award was given to senior Raquel Dimitri who played four years of varsity tennis and volleyball. She excelled not only on the court but in the classroom as this year's valedictorian. 

On the male side, there were two recipients of the award: seniors Albert Wolak, who played football and volleyball, and Aaron Ben-Shmuel, who played basketball and ran cross country. Both boys showed tremendous leadership on the field and in the classroom and were positive role models for their teams.
