Arts Students Discover Chicago
The Windy City welcomed 72 students of Scheck Hillel’s Jordan Alexander Ressler Arts Program this week to attend masterclasses with faculty from the Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. In addition to working on repertoire for their upcoming concert, students enjoyed a Q&A session about continuing music in college. The three-day trip was chock full of arts, city life, kosher eats, fellowship, and fun: a Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance, the Museum of Science & Industry, the Navy Pier, the Shedd Aquarium, a Chicago Blackhawks hockey game, the Willis Tower, Michigan Avenue and "The Bean," daily prayer, and all the bus rides in between!
