Scheck Hillel Community School Wins CASE Awards for Media, Design

North Miami Beach, Fla.– Scheck Hillel Community School has won two awards in the 2019 National Platinum Awards Category of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Awards Competition. The Award of Excellence was garnered for digital media production, and a set of classroom Pledge of Allegiance posters was ribboned with a Special Merit award.

Both awards celebrate the school’s creative media and graphic design, produced entirely by members of the school's Advancement office, specifically Creative Manager Greg Feldman and Graphic Designer Vanessa Margulis.

“These awards reflect the high quality and standards that define Scheck Hillel and CASE’s value of best practices," said Vanessa Donaher, Scheck Hillel's Head of School. “We are proud to showcase educational excellence, creativity and innovation, sharing our story through multimedia and design.”

Last year, the school’s Advancement department was also awarded with two gold 2018 Education Digital Marketing Awards and one silver 2018 Annual Educational Advertising Award. Both competitions were sponsored by Higher Education Marketing Report. For marketing, the school won gold, the highest level, in two categories: Institutional Website (eHillel.org) and Digital Newsletter (monthly Lion's Share newsletter). For advertising, Scheck Hillel earned silver for Kol Hillel, the school’s biannual magazine. More than 1,000 entries were received from colleges, universities and secondary schools across the United States.
