Our Annual Lion Fund represents the most fundamental elements of our educational program, providing our students with an outstanding dual General and Judaic Studies curriculum permeated with Jewish values, the love for the State of Israel and the United States; the finest faculty and staff, meaningful programming and innovative technologies. In addition, it allows us to offer financial aid to families who need it.

  • Kulanu Scholarship Fund

    Scheck Hillel provides exceptional and immersive education to students - regardless of need - and maintains a 'need blind' admission process. Last year, nearly 20% of families received tuition assistance through our Kulanu Scholarship Fund. With your help, we can provide assistance to more families and make possible Jewish education for a new generation.
  • Academics

    Scheck Hillel tailors education to the individual child for a personalized, rigorous college preparatory experience. From our dual-language learning to our STEM curriculum, Scheck Hillel sets the standard for educational excellence. Your gift empowers students to become reflective global citizens with enduring Jewish identity and values.
  • Jordan Alexander Ressler Arts Program

    The arts are a core component of Scheck Hillel's curriculum from early childhood through high school. Our Jordan Alexander Ressler Arts Program is state-recognized and 100+ students qualify for the National Art, Tri-M and International Thespian Honor Societies each year. By making a gift to the arts, you support artistic and cultural experiences like school musicals, concerts, art exhibitions and trips.
  • Athletics

    Athletics help foster strength of character and nurture leadership qualities beyond the traditional classroom walls. Scheck Hillel has multiple sports teams and a state-recognized athletics program. From the field to the court, your donation will help student-athletes of all ages ROAR! Go Lions!
  • Student Life & Leadership

    Student life & leadership facilitates social engagement, campus involvement and personal exploration. Your gift will enhance a broad range of extracurricular activities, such as color wars, chesed projects, guest speakers, clubs and other growth and leadership activities.
  • Jewish Life

    Scheck Hillel is focused on deepening our students’ commitment to their Jewish heritage and identity, cultivating a commitment to learning Torah and performing mitzvot. Your donation to Scheck Hillel supports Siddur and Chumash celebrations, Shabbatonim, Rosh Chodesh activities, holiday programming and more.
  • Ahavat Yisrael

    At the core of Scheck Hillel is a focus on ahavat Yisrael, a love and support for the State of Israel. When you support ahavat Yisrael, you support important initiatives, such as Israel-themed celebrations and Israel focused programming, including Yom Ha'Atzmaut, Yom HaZikaron, Israel education and our Grade 9 Israel trip.
  • Faculty & Staff

    At Scheck Hillel, faculty and staff members are at the heart of what we do. 60% of teachers hold advanced degrees, including Master's, doctorates and rabbinic ordinations. The average teaching experience of faculty is 18 years. Your donation will enhance faculty & staff appreciation days, team building exercises and support professional development.
  • Alumni

    From top universities, colleges and yeshivot to fields of marketing, medicine and manufacturing, Scheck Hillel alumni are involved on campus and in the community. 30+ alumni have returned to Scheck Hillel as faculty/staff members and 150+ have returned as current parents - a true testament that Hillel is Home. Your gift will help bring alumni together at reunions and events.

    Annual Lion Fund gifts have an immediate yet long-lasting impact, allowing Scheck Hillel to support academic excellence across our dual curriculum, provide our students with educational technologies, offer arts programs that inspire creativity and discovery, present athletic opportunities designed to encourage the spirit of competition and teamwork, provide tuition assistance to those who need it, attract and retain the finest faculty and staff, and more. In short, these donations help enhance the already outstanding Jewish day school experience for the next generation.
  • Why is participation so important?

    Maximizing participation is a testament to our donors’ belief and trust in what we are doing and a statement to foundations, corporations, and prospective students that Scheck Hillel’s community is actively involved in the advancement of its mission.
  • How can I make a gift to the Annual Lion Fund?

    You can support Scheck Hillel by making a gift of cash or appreciated securities.   • When should I make my annual gift?

    Our fiscal year ends on June 30. Your gift at any point in the year is helpful and supports the school. We encourage you to make a multi-year annual commitment when your child enters the school. 
  • How much should I give?

    We ask our families to consider giving at the level that is personally meaningful and best reflects their capacity to give. Our goal is 100% parent participation. Gifts of any size make an impact, are important, and are sincerely appreciated. Scheck Hillel is a 501(c)3 organization so your contribution is tax-deductible.
