Mazel tov! Your family has taken the first step in planning a momentous occasion. We encourage Hillel families to share the dates of their Bnei Mitzvah celebrations with the rest of the community well in advance so that we can minimize conflict with other family's simchas. However you choose to commemorate this special day, we wish your entire family a Mazel Tov as you prepare for this joyous milestone. As a community, Hillel’s faculty and administration look forward to partnering with you for this simcha.
As a community day school, Hillel is a school to children of all levels of observance. To enhance a family’s simcha by ensuring all invited guests are comfortable, Hillel strongly encourages parents not to schedule parties on Shabbat and to serve kosher food.
To allow for participation of an entire class and to ensure the least interruption of the school day, Hillel invites and encourages families to host a tefillin service on campus for family and friends. For information about catering and scheduling, please feel free to contact Pam Burd, Hillel’s Director of Operations, at 305.931.2831 x121 (firstname.lastname@example.org
