Outstanding academic accomplishment is celebrated by Scheck Hillel through multi-year scholarships of up to 100% full tuition. At the highest level, a rising Grade 9 student can be recognized with a scholarship throughout all four years of high school. 

For 2019-2020, such grants are available for rising Grade 9 and Grade 10 students who achieve at the highest level, based on the following criteria.

  • Criteria

    • Apply for or enroll in Grade 9 or Grade 10 at Scheck Hillel Community School for 2019-2020
    • Submit academic transcript that demonstrates high academic achievement at your current school
    • Take reading, math, and science standardized tests*
    • Participate in self-reflective surveys measuring growth mindset, character, and passion and perseverance for learning*
    • Participate in an interview with members of Scheck Hillel's Academic Scholarship Committee

     Note: For students’ convenience, applicants may take the scholarship tests prior to formally applying for admission to Scheck Hillel.

  • Qualifications to Maintain

    • Weighted GPA of 4.0 in all math and science courses
    • Good standing discipline records
    • Good standing financial records
    Academic scholarship applicants may also apply for tuition assistance.
