HIP/PTA (Hillel Involved Parents) brings parents, teachers and administrators together to enrich the school community and to raise funds to enhance Hillel programs. Each academic year begins with the Welcome Back Breakfast when plans are shared for the year ahead and parents learn about the many volunteer opportunities that Hillel offers families. As the year unfolds, HIP/PTA events include the Scholastic Book Fair, an Early Childhood Event, chagim celebrations, teacher appreciation activities, Mishloach Manot Exchange, the School Supply Sale and an Annual Luncheon. HIP/PTA and the school's leadership are dedicated to a wonderful partnership and genuine commitment to learning.
One of HIP/PTA’s biggest initiatives is the Guardian of Learning program, which enhances our students’ Hillel experience. Guardians are recognized for their generosity every year at the Annual Luncheon.
HIP/PTA meets on campus every month at 8 AM in the Kunin Library Media Center, and committees meet within that schedule as well. All Hillel parents always are invited and encouraged to attend meetings, join committees and lend their support to help Hillel fulfill its mission to provide our children with the finest Jewish education. A calendar of meetings will be posted in August.
HIP/PTA members work diligently to ensure the success of each event at Hillel. For more information or to become involved, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
