Mazal tov to Natalie Broide (Class of ‘17) for being honored by the National Center for Women & Information Technology for the second consecutive year! She will study computer science at the University of Florida in the fall.
The National Center for Women & Information Technology presents these awards to high school women for their initiatives and achievements in technology. Natalie won the 2016 South Florida Regional Aspirations in Computing Award and earned 2017 Honorable Mention.
Natalie has shown a deep interest in technology throughout her high school career: from building an actual computer to her participation in organizations like Girls Who Code, a prestigious national program designed to inspire, educate and equip girls with the computing skills to pursue 21st century opportunities. She has also been invited to participate in technology conferences organized by TECHNOLOchicas and CODeLLA.
