It may be stormy outside, but know that your children's safety is our first priority. Today’s dismissals remain at our standard Friday times of 12:30 PM (ECE) and 2:00 PM (schoolwide).
We continue to monitor Tropical Storm Erika. Remember that we follow Miami-Dade County Public Schools when it comes to closing due to inclement weather. If Miami-Dade County Public Schools close, then Scheck Hillel Community School will close. For campus safety, we also may make our own decision to close independent of the County.
As we continue to assess the weather, we will keep you posted about campus. For updates, please stay connected through our school’s website (www.eHillel.org) and LinkLine (305.931.2831 x88, option 1), and expect Sunday email and text messages. Please also stay tuned to broadcast weather reports and be sure that your family takes precautionary steps to remain safe in the expected wind and rain. As always, we will keep you informed. May we all enjoy a safe, peaceful Shabbat.
Fine Arts at Hillel is a marker of excellence that is developed from Early Childhood through graduation. Students are given a personal choice for their creative outlet, which helps to develop respect and understanding for all visual and performing art forms.
Whether your child’s passion is learning to play the violin or paint a masterpiece, there is a place for everyone in Hillel’s fine arts program. View the schoolwide calendar and schedule alerts so you stay current and in the know when it comes to Hillel’s Arts events.
