Pesach Designed

Take a look at these amazing creations by students in Grades 7 and 8 Design/STEM classes! Students applied graphic design skills reflecting Passover themes, and final products will decorate seder tables in their homes. 

 

Design/STEM teacher Sabrina Ferster '00 introduced students to basic rules of layout, composition and color. Following the steps of design, they brainstormed, planned, sketched and created digital designs using various online layout and illustration tools. The process involved peer editing and final revisions. 

In Design/STEM Department Chair Elana Lazar '98’s class, students delved into visual elements following the industry's principles of design, real-world parameters that designers use as a guide to create successful work. Take a look at the posters they created!
