Scheck Hillel Nominated: 2020 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence
Scheck Hillel Community School is 1 of 50 private schools nominated to receive education’s highest honor: the U.S. Department of Education's 2020 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence title. This nomination was confirmed on January 31, 2020, and this is the second such achievement for Scheck Hillel as the school was named a Blue Ribbon School in 2011.
Every year the U. S. Department of Education seeks out and celebrates great American schools, schools demonstrating that all students can achieve to high levels. The National Blue Ribbon Schools award affirms the hard work of students, educators, families, and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging content. National Blue Ribbon Schools are an inspiration and a model for schools still striving for excellence. Awards will be announced in Fall 2020.
