Call or write to our Admissions Office to make an appointment to tour our Hillel campus.

Please complete and submit the online application with your $200 non-refundable application fee by credit card and email a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport. The deadline for our First Round of Admissions Acceptances is January 31st. Applications received after that date will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis with space permitting.

If entering Grades 6-12, your child needs to complete the Student Questionnaire. Please submit this with your application.

Complete and sign Permission for Release of Student Records and submit with Recommendation Forms to your child’s current principal/guidance counselor. Ask that it be completed and returned to Hillel with transcripts and test records in an envelope from that school. We must receive your Recommendation Form and records directly from your school.

Upon receipt of the documents included in Steps 2-4, we’ll call applicants for Grades 1-5 to schedule a daylong visit. Grade 6-12 applicants for can request to spend the day at Hillel if they like.

• Kindergarten applicants must attend a group activity visit on campus. Don’t fret; we’ll schedule that for you.
• Grade 1-5 applicants will be administered an entrance interview/screening/ placement exam during the day spent at Hillel.
• Grade 6-12 applicants will interview with Hillel’s Head of Upper School or Middle School Director, at which time a Hebrew test will be administered.
• Grade 6-12 applicants must take the SSAT at the location of their choice. Register at www.ssat.org or in Hillel’s Admissions Office. When registering, please use Hillel school code 7065. To make this as easy as possible for you, Hillel hosts the SSAT at various times throughout the year; ask us for the next testing date.

Acceptance letters are sent to applicants in March 2012. Contracts are due back to Hillel two weeks after received.

An original Immunization Form (Blue HRS form #DH680) and an original 2011 Student Health Form (Yellow HRS form #3040) from a Florida pediatrician dated after September 1, 2011, are due June 1, 2012. Out-of-state and foreign forms are not acceptable. Florida law prohibits students from attending class if current health forms are not on file.
