Kulanu Scholarship Fund
Giving Opportunities

Included in our rich blessings is a wonderful community- eager and able to support, sustain and enhance our school’s mission to educate our children. A reality, however, is that many Hillel families cannot afford tuition. Last year, thanks to the generosity of many donors at different levels, Hillel was able to provide scholarships to nearly 20% of our student body. This means that one in five Hillel students benefited form this collective demonstration generosity. Our goal this year, 2012-2013, remains to be able to help them, as well as the many new ones who joined us this fall…therefore we appeal to your renewed commitment and perhaps even your increased support.
Gifts to the Kulanu Scholarship Fund benefit children every day, and every amount makes a difference. We ask all members of our community to give generously to the best of their ability, respecting privacy and requests for anonymity.
Hillel is honored to recognize those who support the school with charitable gifts. The annual giving opportunities listed below are for recognition only and do not imply any quid pro quo action on the part of the school. Gifts to Hillel are tax-deductible, per IRS guidelines. For information about giving opportunities, please contact Hillel’s Development office at 305.931.2831 x279.

The Hebrew word Ma’ayan means spring – a continual source of water that flows naturally from within the earth, enabling all living things to grow. It symbolizes the generosity that comes from within your heart, ensuring Hillel’s capacity to educate, cultivate and inspire our Jewish community children and teenagers. Your membership in the Ma’ayan Society transforms lives, initiate change and preserve traditions. Together, we teach our children to conserve the spring that flows naturally from within all of us, giving life to the next generations of our Jewish community.
