Children and parents are loving Hillel’s after-school violin program so much that a new Introductory Violin Class for Kindergarten-Grade 5 has been added for second semester. This after-school course will run Tuesdays, January 24-May 22, 2012. To register or for more information, please contact Fine Arts Director Kristan Cassady (305.931.2831 x139).
Co-curricular offerings develop creativity, build peer relationships and friendships, and cultivate students' talents and skills. Specifically, playing a musical instrument is a great commitment that yields great rewards. It is proven that children who study violin at a young age achieve better eye-hand coordination, learn languages quicker, build self-confidence, develop stronger memory and gain a true appreciation for music and the arts.
Programs run once per week,
starting on the date noted, 3:30 - 4:30 pm.
Healthy Snacks: In accordance with our kashrut policy, Hillel provides all snacks at the beginning of each session.
